New Reports on Artisanal Diamond Mining in Côte D'Ivoire and Democratic Republic of Congo

Partnership Africa Canada is pleased to present two new reports on the artisanal diamond sector, produced in collaboration with civil society partners.

 

 

 

Kasai

Social Survey Report into Artisanal Diamond Mining Sites in Kasaï-Oriental Province in the Democratic Republic of Congo presents the findings of a field study of artisanal diamond mining sites in rural Mbuji-Maji. The research and report has been produced by Groupe d'Appui aux Exploitants des Ressources Naturelles (GAERN) in response to actions, including violence, by unauthorized government agencies in the provinces mines.
